COUNTER ATTACK.

The Counter. Pasadena. Free food.

Yes, you read it right. Our neighbors, Chris and Candie got the "Hook Up". Why'd I just say "Hook Up"? Candie knew the manager of the high places and got us a reservation for the test run before the Grand Opening come Monday afternoon. It was busy- but a subtle busy. Actually, everything was perfect being up and running for only a couple of days. And for the love of Ohioans Frank and Charles Menches, it's free.

Let me explain the concept. The Counter hands you this menu slash checklist of fresh ingredients from the choice of bread you want, the size of the patty, the kind of patty, which vegetables you want (or don't want) and a contract to sign your life away. No guarantees here.

If you've got a water-proof camera, you may as well prove it. Thanks, Chris.

Turkey chili cheese fries. Onion strings and sweet potato fries.

Let me see if I can get this right..

Honey wheat bun, avocado, grilled onions, grilled pineapple, mixed greens, goat cheese, garlic mayo and apricot sauce. Blah, blah, blah.

...and if that wasn't enough to feed a small village, you might as well top it off with a complimentary peanut butter and banana milkshake.

And blah.

Bottom's up.
