This was from Friday when I made a studio visit to the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena. The space doubles as a gallery and showroom to even housing a little "school" for young children learning the first steps of becoming a true artist.
The current show featured about 20 different visual artists from Southern California all with different medias of work. Video, piecing together a rug, a light sculpture and more. Done talking, enjoy.
Oh, I will say that one of the artists had a huge obsession with alligators..
...like this pork rind shaped to a gator's head (?!).
